Aaron Levant Of “Agenda” Trade Show : The Action Recon Interview Part 1

Trade shows in the Action Sports industry are institutions that have taken a hard hit over the last few years. Truth is they are expensive and time consuming whether your a buyer or a exhibitor and as the years have gone by less and less business seems to be getting done at these shows. Having just come back from a recent Vegas trade show it is clear to see that the glory days of trade shows are behind us and it is really time to rethink how they are run and what the incentives are to attending. That is where Agenda has really hit the nail on the head, they have made trade shows about business again and made it possible for any brand from majors to grassroots to display and get equal amounts of attention.

About the Show:

The Agenda Trade Show is a forum for the most inspired in the streetwear and action sports industries to unite. Lines speak for themselves and buyers are not intimidated by the usual overwhelming tradeshow experience. From the garage-run lines on the verge of explosion, to the well-established elite, Agenda caters to the needs of buyers and brands that exist on a higher level of design and aesthetic. With a strong emphasis in style, art, music and culture, the Agenda experience is as much a lesson as it is a tool.

Action Recon took some time and sat down with Agenda Show President Aaron Levant and asked him some questions about the show, the industry and their secrets of success. Check out Part 1 of that interview below.
